Marina Extension & Renumbering
The Marina is continually being examined to make the space available more efficient. As a result the old AS, G and Q pier were reformatted in 2007 while also extending out creating R, S and T piers - now renumbered under our new system.
The renumbering of the entire main marina berthing system took place in early 2008, the idea being to make berth identification more accessible from the sea. Each bay has an individual identification letter with odd numbers to port and even numbers to starboard as you enter. All berths accessed via the North fairway begin with letter “N” and all berths accessed via the South fairway begin with the letter “S” and is titled sequentially from West to East e.g. A, SB, SC, SD, SE etc. please see map for details.
In addition to the extention in 2007, we created a stand alone marina just inside the West Breakwater, known as the west bight to accommodate boats of length 8, 10 and 12 meters, which will be serviced by our marina launch located by the amenity barge which is situated at the "NC" Bay.
